Over the weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to take a day trip to Valley Forge National Park. It was my first deliberate trip to the park since moving to the area. Previously, I had been through the park, but never had a chance to stop the car and walk around. I sure am glad that I went as it’s a beautiful park, packed with history.
Whilst at the park, I managed to snap a few photos of the house where George Washington stayed in the famous winter of 1777-1778.
